BMW M GmbH has given its high-performance sports car for the luxury segment a comprehensive upgrade. From March 2022, the combination of performance and exclusivity can be experienced in an even better version. The sporty and luxurious character of the new BMW M8 Competition Coupé, BMW M8 Competition Convertible and BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé has been further enhanced both on the exterior and the interior and combined with optimum connectivity.

High-performance at its best
Eight new body colours and 20-inch light-alloy M wheels in Sterspaak styling highlight the expressive design of the luxurious high-performance models even more. The customer's options for customising the vehicle have also been expanded. In addition, the M Shadow Line headlamps are available for the first time. The new Merino/Alcantara leather trim in Schwarz/Sakhir Orange is also available for the first time for the standard M Sport seats and the optional M Carbon bucket seats (with significantly more Alcantara parts). The new BMW M8 also features a 12.3-inch Touch Control Display for the BMW iDrive control system.

Exceptional performance
The new BMW M8 has a 460 kW (625 hp) V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, 8-speed Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic, M xDrive all-wheel drive and Active M Limited slip differential. This enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds (BMW M8 Competition Coupé, BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé) or 3.3 seconds (BMW M8 Competition Convertible). The model-specific suspension with electronically controlled damping ensures the combination of dynamics, agility and precision typical of M models. The Setup button, which provides direct access to the vehicle settings and M Mode, also offers extensive possibilities for customising the driving experience.
