FRONT-WHEEL DRIVE

The arrival of the all-new BMW 1 Series heralds a new era. With front-wheel drive and a new face, the new BMW 1 Series clearly differs from its predecessor. For example, the new 1 Series is based on BMW's front-wheel drive platform for the first time, which makes the new BMW 1 Series different in terms of drive. The front-wheel drive ensures precise, agile and above all direct steering feel. With the ARB technology, information is transmitted and processed three times faster and it feels like the car is responding ten times faster. The technology is controlled via the engine management and prevents the front wheels from spinning.

MODELS

The new BMW 1 Series is available in three different versions. The BMW 1 Series: Luxury Line model Refined design elements, comfort, an exclusive look, with body parts in satinised aluminium and stylish interior appointments. This completes the model in the luxury line. The BMW 1 Series: Model Sport Line looks even more dynamic. Striking exterior and interior details in high-gloss black lend it an extremely sporty appearance. The sports seats for driver and passenger offer maximum comfort and support. The BMW 1 Series: Model M Sport lends the BMW 1 Series an even sportier note. In addition to a detailed exterior and interior design, the M Sport model offers even more driving pleasure. For example, the M Sport suspension and the M Aerodynamics package noticeably optimise dynamic driving characteristics.

Panoramic roof and backlit interior trim The electrically operated panoramic roof, which is an option for the BMW 1 Series for the first time, lets more light into the interior and creates a feeling of spaciousness.
