BMW/MINI Service (Extended) Warranty

Warranty for new BMWs and MINIs

Anyone driving a new BMW or MINI can look forward to the highest quality standards and driving pleasure guaranteed. In the unlikely event that your BMW or MINI does break down, your vehicle is insured against unexpected repair costs for a period of up to 3 years from the date of first registration - worldwide. The end-of-warranty check-up is free of charge.

In addition, your BMW dealer will always give you the date of your BMW's first registration:

• BMW/ MINI Roadside Assistance - 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, for 5 years
• Cover of any towing costs to the next BMW and MINI dealer
• Extended mobility offer when repair is needed
• Three-year warranty on paint defects and twelve-year warranty on rusting-out of the body.

BMW/MINI Service Extended Warranty

In addition to the standard 3-year warranty of your new BMW or MINI, you also have the option to extend your warranty to a total of 4 or with 5 years. The coverage of BMW /MINI Service Extended Warranty is the same as the first 3 years of standard warranty. The only difference is that any replacement transportation is not included for repairs.

High-voltage battery guarantee

• Up to eight years and/or 160,000 km warranty on the high-voltage battery in BMW i3 vehicles from start date 01-08-2019
• Up to eight years and/or 100,000 km warranty on the high-voltage battery in BMW i3 vehicles up to start date 01-08-2019
• Up to eight years and/or 100,000 km warranty on high-voltage battery in BMW i8 vehicles
• Up to six years and/or 100,000 km warranty on the high-voltage battery in BMW hybrid vehicles

BMWs with a date of first registration before 1 January 2017 have a 2-year warranty without mileage limitation.
