THE NEW BMW 8 SERIES COUPE, BMW 8 SERIES CONVERTIBLE AND BMW 8 SERIES GRAN COUPE

BMW has further developed its luxury sports cars in several respects. The exclusive style of the new BMW 8 Series is shown off to even greater advantage through various striking changes to the exterior and interior design. With a host of innovative digital services, the new models push the boundaries of sporty driving pleasure and comfortable luxury.

The redesigned front end gives the BMW 8 Series models a graceful, dynamic appearance. The BMW 8 Series Coupé, BMW 8 Series Convertible and BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé are now equipped as standard with the M Sport package, which includes aerodynamically optimised exterior parts in body colour, 19-inch M light-alloy wheels (with wider rear wheels) and the M Sport brake system with blue brake calipers.

The most eye-catching feature is the BMW 'Iconic Glow' kidney grille with LED waterfall lights. There are also four new body colours: Skyscraper Grey metallic, San Remo Grün metallic, M Portimao Blau metallic and BMW Individual Frozen Tansanite Blue. The BMW 8 Series models are available with the historic BMW Motorsport logo to mark the 50th anniversary of BMW M GmbH.

Interior
The interior is geared towards intense driving pleasure. The leather-wrapped M Sport multifunction steering wheel and the M Sport seats with memory function are now part of the standard equipment. The BMW Individual Merino leather trim - also standard - adds to the luxurious ambience. The standard Ambiance lighting accentuates the contours of the interior, while the standard 4-zone air conditioning ensures maximum comfort in the rear, too. Operating convenience and connectivity have been improved with the BMW Live Cockpit Professional (also standard from now on) with a Touch Control Display for the BMW iDrive system enlarged to 12.3 inches. The counters behind the steering wheel are also displayed on a 12.3-inch digital dashboard. The infotainment system also offers all the conveniences: from online BMW Maps and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant to wireless smartphone integration. Features such as a hi-fi audio system, Comfort Access and numerous safety and assistance systems round off the equipment.

BMW 8 Series in three bodystyles
The BMW 8 Series gives a boost to the luxury sports car segment. With three variants that exude a combination of sporty luxury, everything has been thought of. The BMW 8 Series Coupé represents the classic two-door coupé and, with its elegant lines and dynamic driving characteristics, is a symbol of the BMW brand. The BMW 8 Series Convertible combines sporty performance with maximum exclusivity and the pleasure of "open" driving. The classic fabric convertible top opens and closes fully automatically in 15 seconds at the press of a button. The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé completes the range with the characteristic dynamic performance of a BMW combined with space and comfort for long distances. For a sports car, the four-door BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé also offers exceptional comfort in the rear.

THE 8 X JEFF KOONS: Precision, refinement and craftsmanship in a limited edition
The design and dynamic performance of the new BMW 8 Series are impressive - and not just on the road. For American artist Jeff Koons, they are the inspiration for the limited edition he has designed for the BMW 850i xDrive Gran Coupé. This limited edition will be unveiled on 17 February 2022. THE 8 X JEFF KOONS is a combination of precision, refinement and craftsmanship. A multi-layer paint in eleven colours gives the body an exclusive look. The interior features the most refined leather and other high-quality materials. The interior also features the red and blue tones of BMW M GmbH and an engraved signature of the artist.
