The new MINI Convertible Seaside Edition

To mark the 30th anniversary of the MINI Cabrio, MINI now presents the limited edition MINI Cabrio Seaside Edition, a sporty classic with exclusive equipment and design features. The MINI Cabrio Seaside Edition is available in a shimmering blue Caribbean Aqua paint color or in the light Nanuq White paint color. The Seaside Edition of the MINI Cabrio is available as Cooper and Cooper S. In the Netherlands, this richly equipped MINI Cabrio has a recommended retail price for the MINI Cooper Cabrio of €44,290, and the MINI Cooper S Cabrio has a recommended retail price of €50,490.

External features
With an impressively distinctive appearance in traditional MINI style, the MINI Cabrio embodies individual Go-Kart feeling in the open air. Double decorative white stripes run from the side doors to the rear of the vehicle. For the MINI Cooper S Cabrio, the exclusive exterior design is complete with a unique element on the front bumper, where a stylized "30" again refers to the model's birthday. This contrasts elegantly with the sea-inspired Caribbean Aqua paint color that emphasizes the sporty character of the open four-seater. In Nanuq White color, the consistently light-colored bodywork has a particularly elegant appearance: here the MINI Convertible is reminiscent of mottled clouds against a deep blue summer sky. Optionally, the Seaside Edition in Nanuq White is available with the Piano Black Exterior Package.

The side scuttles subtly feature "Seaside" as the edition's inscription, including a subtle hint at the model's 30th anniversary with graphically designed numerals in light and dark blue. The anniversary is also celebrated with exclusive "Seaside" lettering in orange on the rear. Meanwhile, the optional 18" alloy wheels in Pulse Spoke design are reminiscent of pulsating waves in the water. As standard, the MINI Seaside Edition comes on 17" alloy wheels in Roulette Spoke design. The edition-specific fixed hub caps also feature the anniversary number.

Exclusive interior features
The specific white striping on the side returns from the first MINI Convertible, the two white stripes and Seaside lettering are also found on the entry strips and reflect the exclusive look of the interior. The Cross Punch Carbon Black leather seats with comfortable support for your lower legs and armrests in the doors and are a perfect match with the two paint colors Caribbean Aqua and Nanuq White when the soft top is open. Optionally, the seats are also available with the even more comfortable MINI Yours Leather Lounge Carbon Black.

The edition-specific exclusive interior panels also appear in an edition-specific design: both the printed pattern and the letters again refer to the anniversary. This pattern also appears on the floor mats in the form of a graphic badge. The bottom spoke of the leather sports steering wheel features the eponymous "Seaside" inscription of this new MINI Edition. The car key with the edition-specific graphic wave pattern in iridescent blue tones emphasizes both the open atmosphere and the pure elegance of the sea, allowing the owner to take home a piece of this exclusive edition. The integrated "Seaside" inscription underlines the unique flair of the model and absolutely rules out possible key exchanges.

In the MINI Cooper S, a 131 kW/178 hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology provides acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds. The MINI Cooper motorization also provides a typical Go-Kart feel with a three-cylinder gasoline engine rated at 100 kW/136 hp. The black, electrically operated soft top, can be opened or closed automatically up to 30 km/h.
