Model range

The ringleader of the characteristic quartet is the BMW M3 CS. It is powered by a specially developed version of the 6-cylinder in-line gasoline engine from the BMW M3/M4 with M TwinPower Turbo technology and high-revving capability. The 3.0-liter engine is also the basis for powering the BMW M4 GT3, which directly won the title in the DTM in 2022. The engine is focused on high power and maximum performance, with a top power output of 405 kW (550 hp), 30 kW (40 hp) higher than that of the BMW M3 Competition Sedan. This extra power is achieved through targeted modifications to the M TwinPower Turbo technology, including increased turbo pressure from 1.7 to 2.1 bar and specific engine management tuning.
The BMW M3 Competition Sedan boasts an impressive 375 kW (510 hp) of power and 650 Nm of torque. Thanks to the high-performance M TwinPower Turbo engine, 8-speed M Steptronic Sport transmission with Drivelogic, optional xDrive all-wheel drive, Active M Limited slip differential and numerous motorsport-derived technologies, maximum driving dynamics are guaranteed - both in everyday use and on the race track.
The BMW M3 Sedan offers a sports car-worthy 353 kW (480 hp) of power and 550 Nm of torque. The combination of rear-wheel drive and an optimally tuned six-speed M manual transmission enables a highly dynamic driving style and transforms the car into a purist thoroughbred athlete.
The model range is rounded off by the BMW M340i xDrive Sedan, BMW M340i Sedan and BMW M340d xDrive Sedan.
